Mobile data capture with RFID solutions can be an important component of internal processes. The application can, for example, be used with RFID-based goods receipting, or for tracking, whenever a mobile data capture device is preferred to a RFID gateway for practical reasons. The use of mobile data capture combined with RFID is recommended whenever goods information has to be up-to-date and able to be queried at any time, using an RFID mobile data capture device (mobile reader and writer). The data are then up-dated after each transaction, for example from SAP, to the RFID Tag using the mobile data capture device.

The Client Management product MembrainPAS CM creates a “peer-to-peer” connection with each mobile data capture device through your organisation’s network. The screen content of the remote mobile data capture device is dis-played in its own window on the administrator’s desktop and the mobile data capture device can be controlled remotely.
