September 2009 Industry Prize 2008

The innovative strength and customer focus of Membrain GmbH won out from among 600 contestants at the Industry Fair (Industrie Messe) in Hanover. The newly launched MembrainSFC solution won the Industry Prize 2008 for the Software category.

Membrain GmbH launched its MembrainSFC solution at the Industry Fair in Hanover. The product, which uses MembrainRTC server technology, was presented in an application as an MES-System (Manufacturing Execution System). It was developed from hands-on experience in collaboration with ThyssenKrupp Umformtechnik (transformation technology) and achieves its goal of delivering the best possible value for money.
MembrainRTC
MembrainRTC is a standard software bus for all production and logistics IT applications. Even the oldest IP-based hardware can be integrated. Because of the simplicity of the option to use .NET to develop new adaptors for the MembrainRTC bus, the product can function as a universal communications bus for production. Interfaces: Modbus, OPC, Beckhoff, Simatic, SAP .NET Connector, and many more.

Juli 2009 New Sales and Marketing Director for Membrain GmbH

Andreas Dürr is now heading up the Sales & Marketing organisation at Membrain GmbH. In this role, he will continue to drive forward the interna-tional expansion of the business.
Mr Dürr brings with him more than 13 years of relevant sales and management experience with clients in large and mediumsized companies, as well as with reseller partners. Qualified as an engineer, and with a business degree as well, he brings indepth and wideranging technical and business expertise to his new role.  He was previously Regional Director Central and Eastern Europe for BakBone Software.

Oktober 2008 MembrainPAS

Membrain GmbH launched MembrainPAS at Systems 2008. MembrainPAS is a package system, which models important processes in the areas of production and logistics. Immediately after installing the product you can, for example, book receipts against orders in SAP/R3. Other modules are:

  • Goods receipt against orders or delivery notes
  • Serial number entry
  • Warehouse transfers and postings in the MM module
  • Put-away and acknowledgements in the final storage location in the WM module
  • Warehouse transfers in the WM module
  • Quantity and hours details for payroll
